Casey: This is my 3rd summer at Kids Read Now. I come from the banking world, where I felt an immense connection to my community and desire to "help" the people within it. Founder Leib Lurie was one of those community members. As I learned about KRN and their mission, I knew I wanted to be a part of that team.

Rachel: This is my 3rd summer at Kids Read Now. I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2014 with my B.S. in Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and in 2017 with my M.A. in Public Administration and Community Development. Having grown up in the nonprofit world, I’m no stranger to community engagement and using its lifelong impact for good.
