A step into the unique, strength-based learning styles of learners with ASD will help participants in conceptualization of literacy education that builds from meaningful assessment to individualized instruction with ties to areas of interest and prior knowledge. Participants will engage and step away with:
  • Tools to use when setting up for meaningful assessment
  • Strategies to implement when individualizing instruction and building in motivation
  • Tips to consider in helping learners generalize strategies and concepts between old and new material
