The “Science of Reading” has been getting a lot of buzz lately, but what does that term actually mean? This session examines the research base, including the neuroscience, that has emerged over the past several decades and how that translates into instructional practice. The evidence around "what works" in reading instruction is compelling and The Reading League exists to bridge that evidence to practice so that ALL children can learn to read.
