Sharon Pratt taught reading, writing, and math as a Title I teacher in Iowa for 11 years. At Indiana University Northwest, she enjoys preparing and mentoring both pre-service and in-service teachers in literacy instructional methods. Some of her passions include children’s literature, both fiction and nonfiction, as well as using think-alouds to model and guide readers in literacy strategies and skills.
