I am currently a 5th grade ELA teacher and formerly a Reading Recovery / Literacy / Virtual K-3 / 1st grade teacher at Throop Elementary in Paoli. I am the president of the Friends of the Library Board, an ILA member, the most recent past Chair of the Board for ISLA, ISLA treasurer, a member of the Indiana Council of Teachers of English, a member of the Indiana Reading League, treasurer and co-president for the Orange County Literacy Council, and an assistant Girl Scout Leader. Besides being a mother, I feel that sharing my love of literacy is one of the most important reasons for existing.
